Digital Application Process

Project Summary: I art directed a year and a half long project focusing on the digital application process for all of Wells Fargo's products. What began with a week long working session with partners from diverse disciplines, evolved into a transformation of an entire customer flow. It not only simplified the experience dramatically, it also served as a leading example fo a new Brand direction, created new guidelines for voice and tone, and implemented features making it much easier for customers to use.

defining the problem
In order to truly understand the future vision we needed to examine the existing experience and identify actionable concepts that could result in positive transformation for both the user and the business. To do this, partners from diverse disciplines came together in a week long working session to review survey feedback, created guiding principles, prioritized features, generate a conceptual prototype, and identified common experience attributes.
approach and philosophy
We took a comprehensive look at the design, interaction, and content of 17 product applications. By applying a consistent filter of assessment to each of them, and tying back to the digital business goals, we were able to build a project plan and team that increased applications submitted and reduce errors.
